Walter Graham is a local actor, singer and
director. His previous local directing
projects include “Seussical,†“Urinetown†and “High School Musical.†His current production, “High School Musical
2†opens July 10 at Workshop Theatre.
(1) If your current production were an animal,
what would it be and why?
WG: A cat. The show is nice and sweet, but it has pulled some claws out when I
least expected. Nothing big, just some
technical things I wasn’t expecting.
(2) What’s your favorite character in any play?
WG: Memphis in “The Life.â€
(3) If you could climb into a time machine and
see any play ever produced, what would it be?
WG: “Gypsy†with Ethel Merman.
(4) What would it take to get you naked on
stage? (Keep in mind that our
interviewers never carry more than $50 cash at any one time.)
WG: The guarantee that no one would see it!
(5) What live theatrical production most changed
your life?
WG: “Les Miserables.â€
